Mister Hanover sold to U.S.

special correspondent Dunedin Mister Hanover, the highly promising three-year-old pacer, has been sold to race in the United States. Mister Hanover has been bought by the Central Standardbred Agency from Leo Handerson, of Tuatapere, and Mrs Pat Muldrew, of Piko Piko. Trained at Tomahawk by Ali Malcolmson, Mister Hanover won a double at Forbury Park last month. He won first-up at Omakau on January 2 after qualifying at Forbury Park in midDecember. Tucker’s Ruler, a C 8 pacer in New Zealand, won at his first start there in Imin 57.85. Both are trained by Jack Friedhof, who visited to New Zealand in November. Friedhof has met with considerable success with the New Zealand pacers, Quiet Win, Allan Bell and Watbro Mist.
