Man’s body recovered
PA Palmerston North The body of a Palmerston North man who disappeared in the Manawatu River last Sunday was found yesterday. He was Jephson Everett, aged 61, who failed to return from a lone trout-fish-ing trip. His body was seen in the river at 1.15 p.m. yesterday. It was 400 metres from where he had disappeared. Six police divers and search and rescue teams had looked for the body yesterday.
