Pacers bound for Sydney
PA Auckland The brilliant Southland four-year-old, Really Honkin (above), and the cupclass Timaru pacer, Double Cove, will be flown from Auckland next Wednesday for rich events in Sydney. Their connections said
yesterday that they would be brought back to New Zealand in time for meetings at Alexandra Park next month.
Really Honkin, the winner of five races and placed in Imin 56.9 s for a mile on Show Day at Addington, from only seven starts, will
be entered for the Australian four-year-old Championship at Harold Park. Heats will be run on December 7 with the sAust4o,ooo final run a week later.
Double Cove is engaged in the Australian Pacing Championship series, which
starts on November 23. A second round of heats; will be run on November 27,, with the sAustBo,ooo final ‘ being decided on Friday,,. November 30.
Double Cove and Really,, Honkin are booked to return ■ to Auckland on December 14.
