Yates offer
The Auckland sharebrokers, Jordan, Sandman Smythe and Company, announced last evening they would stand in the market from today for 5 per cent of the capitals of Yates Corporation.
The price offered is $2.30 for each ordinary share and $1.75 for each 12 per cent specified preference snare.
The instruction was on behalf of a New Zealand resident client, the brokers said.
