Daicro 1:10 bonus
Dalgety Crown Corporation, Ltd, will make a one-for-10 bonus issue, the chairman, Sir Roderick Weir, announced yesterday. In a comment on this issue, he said “The bonus issue will allow existing shareholders to participate in the company’s better than expected performance which is continuing into the present financial year. It is anticipated that the dividend rate will be maintained on the bonus increased capital.” The bonus involves the issue of 6,962,000 50c fullypaid Ordinary shares to current ordinary shareholders, and /a further 1,556,000 shares to subordinated capital noteholders when these convert in December, 1988.
