Prison escaper apprehended
A prisoner who escaped from Paparua Prison on a Justice Department motorcycle two weeks ago has been apprehended in Wellington. . John Chris Sharnock, aged
26, who was in Paparua serving a prison term for bank robbery, was returned to custody after two detectives recognised him walking in one of Wellington’s busiest shopping streets.
