Opening of Buildings
PA Wellington The Minister of Tourism, Mr Moore, has officially asked for Parliament Buildings to be opened to visitprs at week-ends and public holidays. Mr Moore wrote to the Minister in charge of the Legislative Department, Mr Palmer, asking for the ex-
tension, said the member for Wellington Central, Mrs Fran Wilde. Wellington’s Labour members of Parliament have been campaigning for the extra opening times, which Mrs Wilde said would enhance Parliament Buildings’ appeal as a tourist attraction.
