New head of I.A.S.
The new president of the Institute of Agricultural Science is Mr Robert Davison, the Meat and Wool Boards’ Economic Service chief economist. Mr Davison, who takes over the presidency from Dr Jim Kerr, has been actively involved with the institute for the past seven years. He is the immediate past vicepresident and has previously hesL the positions of
treasurer and councillor. Mr Davison is a registered farm management consultant and is an active member of the Society of Farm Management. He attended Onslow College in Wellington before gaining a Diploma in Sheep Fanning from Massey University and a Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce with honours from Lincoln College.
