President re-appointed

A Christchurch man, Mr David Lamb, was re-elected as president of the Society of Farm Management at the annual council meeting held recently. Mr Graham Cooney of Invercargill was reelected vice-president. Mr Lamb is a registered farm management consultant with his own practice in Christchurch. Although born and educated in Auckland and Massey, Mr Lamb has worked for six and a half years with the M.A.F. in Hastings and Pukekohe. Following on from this was a 10 year stint in lecturing in farm management at

Lincoln College. From there he moved to his present practice. Mr Cooney is also a registered farm management consultant with his own practice in Invercargill. Born in Waimate, he was educated in Oamaru and at Lincoln College. He also worked for the M.A.F. in Invercargill before going out on his own as a private consultant. The society recently appointed two new fellows, Mr T. D. MacKenzie, of Wellington and Mr R. Du Faur, of Papakura.
