Strathspey trio
The Strathspey Vocal Trio from Timaru will give a charity concert in the State Trinity Theatre on November 3. The trio of Joan Peyton and Elizabeth and Bruce Strathem perform concerts for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The group has raised several thousands of dollars for ’‘the society. .. The trio will sing a Selection of easy listening songs with accompaniment by
Margaret Maconie. Included in the concert will be the Timaru Girls’ High School Chorale, which has performed with the trio before, and Pachamama, an instrumental trio from Chile playing South American music. The concert follows successful concerts in Timaru and Dunedin and t one planned for Auckland on Saturday. The concert starts at 7 p.m.
