lola Shelley has been appointed as the musical coordinator of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. Mrs Shelley will take up the position at the beginning of November. The new position was created to oversee the musical direction of the
orchestra in conjunction with the Players’ Committee. Mrs Shelley is a teacher of advanced piano students, a member of the acclaimed Camerata Quartet and a leading accompanist. Her contract will initially be for one year.
