Dismissals appeal
The dismissal of six traffic cases by Judge Bradford in the District Court last month was challenged by the Ministry of Transport in the High Court in Christchurch yesterday. Mr Justice Holland said that he would give his decision this week on the application to have the charges
reinstated. The Court was told that a witness in one traffic case had since gone to Australia. The dismissal of the charges occurred on two days when too many defended cases were set down to be heard. Report, page 4
