Police deny ‘stalling’
PA ■ Wellington The police have rejected allegations, that they, are stalling in their investigation on whether the bankrupt former member of Parliament, Mr John Kirk, should be extradited. The Deputy Assistant Commissioner (crime and operations), Mr Brian Davies, said yesterday that the inquiry had high priority and was being treated thoroughly and expeditiously. He said the inquiry was extensive and complex and it was likely to take some time yet.
