Lochore gets good support
PA Wellington Only four unions have nominated the All Black rugby coach, Bryce Rope, for the 1985 New Zealand selection panel, to be named on November 2. Wellington, Wanganui, Otago and Bay of Plenty are the only provinces out of 26 unions which have forwarded Mr Rope’s name for consideration. The four unions have opted for the incumbent panel to serve another term. Twelve of the 20 provinces, which have so far made nominations, want Brian Lochore back as an All Black selector next year. Other nominations are
John Hart," of Auckland, Colin Meads, of King Country, Alex Wyllie and Tiny Hill, of Canterbury, Neville Goodwin, of Mid-Canter-bury, Alistair Tait, of Southland, Leo Walsh, of Taranaki and Des Johansen, of Thames Valley. Only six unions — North Auckland, Buller,. North Otago, Marlborough, East Coast and West Coast — have not forwarded nomina-. tions. The panel will be decided at the New Zealand Rugby Union’s council meeting in Wellington on November 2 where councillors will have the right to make nominations from the floor at the meeting '
