Mr Graehme Bruce covered the 364 km to Dunedin in 14 days, averaging 26km a day. He plans to complete the 2000 km walk in 17 weeks. Dunedin on Friday evening, having walked every day since leaving Christchurch on October 6. Bad weather had prevented his heading south from Dunedin yesterday, although he plans to leave today. Mr Bruce, an epileptic, is walking to promote Medic Alert, the identification system for persons at risk because of hidden medical conditions. ‘
