Britain wins contest
NZPA-AAP Adelaide Britain has won the Fincastle Competition for maritime surveillance, flown off the South Australian coast.
The Royal Air Force aircraft and crew from St Mawgan, Cornwall, beat Canadian, New Zealand, and Australian teams in the annual competition. The teams flew a day sortie and a night sortie looking for a submarine while observers assessed their skil'.
