Elimination heats
The connections of horses eligible to start in the $6OOO Semi-Final of the Sires’ Stakes Board Series at Invercargill on October 30 will have a chance to qualify for the event in elimination heats to be run at Motukarara next Tuesday. There will be one other semi-final, run at Addington on November 6, but some Canterbury owners and trainers are keen to take advantage of the earlier race at Invercargill. Entries for the elimination heats close on Friday.
