R. McKay injured
PA Tauranga In the opening event at the Bay of Plenty Racing Club’s meeting yesterday, the Takanini apprentice, Roy McKay, was involved in a quite serious accident when his mount Molair fell
at about the 800 m mark. McKay, apprenticed to Cliff Fenwick, was taken by ambulance to the Tauranga Hospital from where a late afternoon report indicated a fractured jaw but no fracture to the skull.
