Goodman dividend
Goodman Group, Ltd, has declared an early interim dividend of 4.5 cents per 50c ordinary share payable from tax free sources on October 31. a second interim dividend will be declared at the time of the half-yearly profit announcement on December 5 and will be distributed to shareholders early in the new ,year, the company says. The directors say that the splitting of the payments does not indicate that the total interim dividend will necessarily be different to last year’s 6c, but will be paid on capital increased by the one-for-five bonus issue authorised on June 6.
