Police still have Bruno
Bruno, the Great Dane at the centre of last month’s Redcliffs School closing, is expected to remain in police care until the District Court decides his future.
The dog’s owner, Stephen Young, was remanded to November 29 for a defended hearing when he appeared
in court yesterday to face charges relating to alleged attacks by Bruno. The head of the police dog section, Sergeant Harold Surgenor, said the dog
had settled down well in the
police kennels and seemed to be enjoying the company of his police dog companions.
