An administration building at Christchurch Polytechnic is one of several projects in a $l7 million capital works programme for technical institutes in 1984-85 announced by the Minister of Education, Mr Marshall.
A further $620,000 has
been approved for capital works at teachers’ colleges. One other project, already under construction, that has been allocated more funds is the meat industry training centre at Christchurch Polytechnic. The 1984-85 programme is $1.6 million greater than the 1983-84 programme.
