Police told of ‘bomb’
A man will appear in the District Court next week after he was arrested in connection with a bomb scare in St Albans last evening.
An anonymous caller told the police at 9.40 p.m. that there was a bomb at the Municipal Electricity Department premises in Packe Street.
After finding no evidence of a bomb at the address, the police made inquiries and arrested a man.
He .will be charged with making a fictitious telephone call.
