Chinese N-Test
Seismic signals presumably from a Chinese underground nuclear explosion have been monitored by the United States Energy Department The U.S. atomic energy detection system had recorded the seismic indicators at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The signals came from the Lop Nor test area in north-west China. — Washington.
