Admission charges up
The Metropolitan and New Brighton clnbs have joined the Canterbury Park Club, the other club racing at Addington Raceway, by increasing admission charges from $2 to $3 at future meetings. The new charges were introduced by the Canterbury Park club at its meeting on Wednesday when a crowd, probably affected by adverse weather during the day, of 3519 attended, a decrease of 879 over 1983. The Metropolitan club has charged $3 for admission at some of its major meetings, reverting to $2 for secondary fixtures.
