Defence policy
Sir,—Convictions may not always dictate policy, but where trends obviously lead nowhere they may dictate a firm stand. New Zealand may need to stand, if necessary unilaterally, against the trend to nuclear armaments. Will party politics ensure that we do not stand united in this as they have economic issues? — Yours, etc.,
