Is sex irrelevant in the modern world? This is the somewhat alarming question posed in a new book written by two highly respected scientists, Jeremy Cherfas and John Gribben. In “The Redundant Male,” on the radio National programme at 10.10 tonight, the questions of whether sex is irrelevant, whether the male is irrelevant, and what effect all this could have on society will be discussed by Dr Cherfas and Dr Tony Smith, deputy editor of the “British Medical Journal.”
