PA Palmerston North Results from the age-group finals, of the New Zealand table tennis championships, at the week-end were:-Under-16 Boy’s.—Singles: Karl Entwistle (Canterbury) beat Gary Trail (Northland) 2116. 21-19, Doubles: Murray and Garry Trail beat Michael Davis and David Pyper (Hutt Valley) 21-12, 21-17. Under-16 Girl’s.—Singles:
Tania McAvinue (Manawatu) beat Eileen Hoete (Auckland) 14-21, 21-12, 25-23. Doubles: Hoete and Sharon Coad (Auckland) beat Carolyn England (Wellington) and Tanya Grant (Queensland) 21-15,12-21, 21-5). Under-12 years Single’s.— Boys: Darren Sears (Hutt Valley) beat Brian McKegg (Northland) 21-15, 21-16. Girls: Luana Graham (Auckland) beat Karen Allan (Wellington) 21-18, 21-13.
