37 horses for Sydney
Two qualified maiden pacers in Highland Skipper and Brahms were among 37 horses flown to Sydney from Christchurch last week. Included in the consignment were 32 horses sold by Wrightson Bloodstock, making it the greatest number sent to Sydney by the company other than other major sales. - Highland Skipper, trained by Des Grice, is a four-year-old gelding by World Skipper from Carlotta Lopez. He is destined for Brisbane, after which he will go on to North America. Brahms, a three-year-old gelding by Honkin Andy from Kim, a half-sister to Noodlum, is to go on to Western Australia.
