Position created
A new secretarial position has been created to assist the Minister of Broadcasting, Mr Hunt. Advertised as a private secretary, the position will include some administrative work but will mainly be one
of assisting and advising the Minister. Mr Hunt said, “The main job will be reading and researching things for me. Obviously the successful person will have some considerable expertise and interest in broadcasting.”
He said the new position was part of a policy to assemble staff with professional experience and some knowledge of news media technology. Applications close on August 22.
