Baby rumour scotched
NZPA-AAP London The Princess of Wales would not be having her second baby in Scotland, the “Daily Mail” newspaper reported yesterday. Reports that she would be giving birth in an Aberdeen hospital were dismissed by Buckingham Palace. “She plans to have her baby in London,” a spokesman told the tabloid news-
paper. The Prince and Princess of Wales are expected at Balmoral this week-end for the start of the traditional Royal holiday. The Princess will leave Scotland in plenty of time
for her child — due next* month — to be born at Saint Mary’s Hospital, west London, where Prince William was born.
Organisers of the Braemar Games, attended by the Royal Family, do not expect the Princess of Wales to be at the annual gathering on September 1. However, the “Mail” said contingency plans had been prepared for the Princess’s stay in Scotland in case of complications in her pregnancy. The last member of the Royal Family to be born in Scotland was Princess Margaret.
