Robson dropped
PA Wellington Graeme Robson, New Zealand’s top badminton player since 1981, has been demoted to second seed for next month’s national championships in Auckland. Robson, aged 25, of Auckland, has lost the top seeding to Phil Horne, of North Shore, despite being the pre-
sent national champion and the No. 1 player in the touring New Zealand team earlier this year. Murray Weatherston, the convener of the national selectors, said Home was clearly the outstanding player in the country this season.
