Charities left $15,000
Nine Christchurch charities and one at Timaru have received a total of $15,000 from the estate of George Sevicke Jones. The estate trustee, the New Zealand Guardian Trust Company, Ltd, has distributed $l5OO to each of the following charities: Nazareth House, St John of God Hospital (Halswell), Presbyterian Social Service Association, South Island Methodist Children’s Home, Crippled Children Society (Canterbury branch), .Mary Potter Hospital, the Clothes Shop, Christchurch City Mission, Salvation Army, and St Vianney’s Home of Compassion (Timaru).
