‘Butterbomb’ protest

PA Wellington Butter sculpted into a model of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima was used in a protest message to the French Embassy in Wellington yesterday.

An embassy press attache, Ms Ariane Burgess, accepted the “butterbomb” from a Greenpeace assistant co-ordinator, Mr Mark Roach. The sculptor, Mr Ymre Molnar, of Artists Against Arms, was present.
