The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Highet, inspects the new lighting board at the Theatre Royal in Christchurch yesterday. With him is the chairman of the Theatre Royal Trust, Mr Noel Wesney. Mr Highet inspected the theatre in his capacity as Minister for the Arts, while in Christchurch on business. The theatre has received several grants from the Cultural Facilities Fund.
