N.Z. Party against poll
PA Wellington The leader of the New Zealand Party, Mr Bob Jones, wants the “Eyewitness News” television programme to abandon its monthly Heylen poll in the interests of fairness.
“To poll, as does Heylen,
10 people per electorate out of an average number of over 20,000 voters in each electorate defies all logic,” he said yesterday. The latest poll showed support for the New Zealand party had dropped from 7 per cent.
