Twizel seeks casino
PA Timaru High Country Hotels, Ltd, the New Plymouth-based company which runs the Mackenzie Country Motor Inn at Twizel, intends applying for a casino licence. The company has written to the Minister of Works, Mr Friedlander, for information on making a formal application. The Twizel Community Council decided on Monday to support the company’s application and asked to be kept informed of developments.
