Guitarist plays
Antonio Losada, one of the world’s leading classical guitarists, will visit Christchurch next week.
He is a graduate of the Real Conservatoire in Madrid where he studied both guitar and piano for six years, two under the tuiton of Andres Segovia. For two years he toured Europe giving recitals and radio and television appearances before settling in Australia. There he now con-
ducts regular master classes at the University of Sydney.
Mr Losada will give one master class and two recitals while in Christchurch. On June 20 he will perform a lunchtime recital in the Centre Gallery at the Arts Centre. His second recital will be on June 22 in the Canterbury Museum Lecture Theatre.
The master class will be held at the Arts Centre on June 24.
