30 remain in Trophy
PA Tauranga Thirty horses remained in the $30,000 Owens Trophy when first acceptors were taken yesterday. The Woodville galloper, Tredici, was the only entry among the higher-weighted horses to drop out of the Bay of Plenty Racing Club’s feature, to be run on June 23. Final acceptances for the 2100 m event close next Wednesday.
