Springston man killed in collision
A Springston man was killed when two cars collided near the corner of Barbadoes Street and St Asaph Street early yesterday. He was Peter Duncan Coles, aged 31, of R.D. 4, Springston. Mr Coles had been travelling alone in one of the cars. No-one else was injured in the accident, which occurred at 2.35 a m. The Christchurch police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision. A man injured when the car he was travelling in and a truck collided at the corner of Linwood Avenue and Dyers Road nine days ago, died in Christchurch Hospital on Thursday evening. He was Malcolm George Montrose, aged 26, of Pages Road.
