McQueen, Blackwood head squash circuit

In spite of being losing finalists in the Bay of Plenty championships at Rotorua last week-end, Danny McQueen (Geyser City) and Robyn Blackwood (North Shore), are the points leaders on the Adidas national squash circuit. In the Bay of Plenty tournament, the third on the circuit, .Anthony McMurtrie (Hamilton) beat McQueen, 9-6, 5-9, 0-9, 9-3, 10-8, in the men’s final, and the British open champion, Susan Devoy (Hamilton), defeated Blackwood, in straight games, 9-3, 9-6. 9-2, in the women’s final. The next circuit tournament is the $2OOO Northland Open at the Whangarei Squash Rackets Club this week-end.
