‘Tonight Show’ host
Greymouth reporter A former Greymouth man, Mr Kevin Soster, will become the weekday Radio New Zealand “Tonight Show” host from June 11. Mr Soster, a son of Mr and Mrs G. Soster, was educated in Greymouth, and later became a teacher. When he moved to Ashburton, he became a relieving radio announcer at weekends, until being appointed to a permanent position at the station there. He then transferred to Masterton where he is an announcer with Radio 2ZD. In his new position, he will take over from Mr Wayne Mowat, who will become charge announcer at Radio 2ZB.
