PA Auckland The injury prone Canterbury first five-eighth, Wayne Smith, has had to withdraw from the South Island team for tomorrow’s inter-island match at Rotorua because of a leg injury , South bruised his leg playing *tor his club. Belfast, against .Marist on Wednesday
night. The injury did not respond to physiotherapy and Smith, who did not train with, the South side in Rotorua yesterday, has since withdrawn.
His place in the South 15 has been taken by Mid Canterbury's Murray' Roulston. and the Canterbury second fiveeighthrr Wayne' Burleigh, ha? been added to the reserves
