Felicity Bumpers: I wonder if Professor Geering has heard of Dr Derek Prince, a former Professor of Philosophy at Cambridge University, who, earnestly seeking truth and finding his learning unfulfilling, tried the Bible and became a born-again Christian. He believes, as do all true Christians, in the whole Bible as the inspired word of God, and in the living Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of god, conceived by His spirit, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended into Heaven, soon to return to
Earth, and meanwhile living in the hearts of those humbly willing to receive Him as their Lord and saviour. For 34 years Professor Prince has proclaimed the truth of the Bible and the power of Jesus. His Christianity has brought new life, joy, peace, hope, love and healing to innumerable people. What has Professor Geering’s “Christianity" achieved?
