National candidates selected
PA Auckland National Party members in Papatoetoe have selected an accountant, Mr Peter O’Brien, as their candidate in the General Election. Mr O’Brien beat one other contender for the nomination.
National’s candidates for Auckland Central and
Roskill have also been named. Miss Sue Proctor, a travel agency manageress, will be the party’s candidate for Auckland Central, while Mr Christopher Knowles, a company secretary, will contest the Roskill seat. They were the only nominees in each seat.
