Approval for display centre
Duncan Grey, Ltd, has been given town planning approval to open a swimming pool, spa pool, landscaping and show home display centre on Clarence
The complex will include eight retail shops selling pool and paving accessories, together with a showroom, office and storage space. It will be built on the southeast corner of the Clarence Street and Blenheim Road intersection.
The Riccarton Borough Council has approved the development, in spite of an objection from the Canterbury United Council which said the centre might be a distraction to drivers on Blenheim Road.
