Migration gain
PA Wellington New Zealand had a net migration gain of 4301 to the end of April compared with a net migration gain of 15,001 for the year ended April, 1983, the Government Statistician has said. Ip the month of April,
1984, there was a net migration loss to population of 18,286 compared with a net migration loss cf 12,093 in April, 1983. The months of March to July of each year are usually’ characterised by a net migration outflow.
