Woman found dead in car
A woman was found dead at the wheel of a car which struck a fence in Staveley Street, Avonhead, about 10 a.m. yesterday. She was Florence May ' Shallard, aged 73, of Hampton Road, Burnside.
The accident was believed to have happened after the woman had collapsed at the wheel, said a St John Ambulance spokesman.
