‘Stand-over’ robbery
“Stand-over tactics” were used by a group of four girls who robbed two teen-age girls of a necklace and $lO cash in Cathedral Square on Friday evening, said a police spokesman.
The incident happened outside the Bank of New Zealand building about 11 p.m. The two girls robbed were “intimidated” but not hurt, said the spokesman. Detectives are investigating.
