Receiving charges
PA Auckland Two persons appeared in the District Court at Auckland this week jointly charged with receiving a stolen stamp collection worth more than $31,000. Ihaia John Hoto, aged 27, and Constance Della Bell, aged 23, both unemployed, of Mangere, entered no plea to a charge that between April 7 and May 7 they received eight stolen stamp albumns containing a collection of New Zealand Railways Stamps valued at $31,065. Judge Paul remanded Bell on bail of $l5OO and Hoto in custody, both to next Tuesday.
