Ferry sailings ‘normal’

PA Wellington Cook Strait ferry sailings were halved yesterday but the Railways Corporation expects the number of sailings to be back to normal for the week-end and Monday, however they could run late, a spokesman said. The Railways was continuing its negotiations with the National Union of Railwaymen on a new roster for the South Island main trunk line to be introduced on May 20, said the spokesman.
